The Fife Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund offers grants between £1,000 - £50,000 to support adult (16+) community-based initiatives to help address the impact of distress and mental ill-health caused by social isolation and loneliness, as well as addressing the mental health inequalities exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is working with Fife Council and Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, to help distribute the funds across the Fife area.
This is a two-year fund and we expect to receive another £1m to fund projects starting in April 2022.
This fund is open to third sector organisations and Community Councils in Fife. You don't need to be a mental health organisation, but your proposal must evidence a contribution to the mental health and wellbeing of adults. Unconstituted groups can contact us for free support to consider how best to become constituted and apply for the grant.
The timescales of the fund are tight and we're encouraging you to apply as soon as possible to increase your chance of receiving a grant. Applications are now being accepted for round 1, which will close on 01 December 2021, and round two will open on 02 December and close on 19 January 2022.
